Elsa is a lovely person who is very passionate about what she does and produces exceptional work. She helped me with my wedding dress and my evening dress; we had a first fitting to take all the measurements, and a second one to check that it was all ok. She took her time in both fittings, made sure I was happy with all the arrangements and both my dresses looked gorgeous. I thoroughly enjoyed them and got some great feedback from others as well. I brought my wedding dress to Elsa for alterations last Nov/Dec for a March wedding across the country. She altered the chest and hips and hemmed it up a bit. In addition, since it was strapless, I really wanted to make sure it stayed on the whole day. She sewed in the undergarment which was great advice and it worked! In addition she advised me to change the trim on my veil, and it was a beautiful suggestion. She is a little bit expensive but, she really knows what she is doing, and I would highly recommend her to any of my friends for bridal alterations

Elsa did a wonderful job with the alterations for my wedding gown. She made suggestions to me about the belt I wanted to add, and her ideas were better than what I had originally wanted. When I brought jewelry with me for my final fitting, she also gave me some great advice which I also followed. Also at the final appointment, she patiently explained how to bustle the gown, letting my mother practice and then provided more instruction while we videoed how to do it properly on the day of the wedding. The dress was ready as promised, and I was thrilled with her work.

Elsa is a very talented seamstress. The alterations to my dress came out perfect. She speaks her mind but also listens to what you want. She also offers great tips about accessories, hair, etc.

I've been to Elsa for my own wedding dress and been there with two friends for theirs. She is very strong willed, but I will say that in most of the cases that I saw, she's been right. My dress looked and fit perfect on the day of my wedding.

I loved working with Elsa! She was always very flexible about scheduling and she was able to give me some great guidance. She was also very thorough in explaining why certain things were done a certain way. I got my veil through her which she did a BEAUTIFUL job on and she showed me some beaded sleeves that she had made by hand from a conversation she had with another person (I had noticed them hanging nearby). Absolutely talented all the way around!

She was incredible! I came to her with a dress that was atleast three sizes too big and she re-created the dress to fit my body perfectly. I was nervous that with a strapless dress I would spend the whole not pulling it up-- but not at all! It was altered perfectly so that it stayed up and was also really comfortable. I was so impressed by Elsa, and she couldn't have been nicer. I strongly recommend getting your dress at Vows and taking it to Elsa!

I got my dress at Vows a couple months before my wedding. Elsa was very accommodating and fit me in for my first fitting in that same week. She took the hem in but did it in such a way that it can easily be undone if I decide to sell the dress and the next bride needs to take it out. She also attached the belt I purchased to the dress and made it look seamless. It's obvious from watching her work that she enjoys what she does and is the best at it. She has a great eye for detail. Her pricing is reasonable and I'm very happy she did the alterations on my dress. You can't go wrong with Elsa.
